Ripon Loiterers
Ten Loiterers and one Wheel Easy member met at the leisure centre. Five of them were heading for a fast spin to Leyburn. The rest set off in lovely but very cold weather via Hutton Bank then across to Kirklington and Carthorpe where we saw the first flurries of snow. After a break we set off for Snape for the traditional photo call among the daffodils before proceeding to Thorpe Perrow for refreshments. Before we set off back we rode along to view the avenue and met up with a group of Wheel Easy riders who had decided to brave the weather. So we had a group photo taken after all. They then headed for their refreshments at the café. We headed home via Well and Thornborough to complete a 28 mile journey arriving back just before the weather broke.

This Sunday there is an easy ride, also a cracking run through Black Hambleton to Chequers Inn or Osmotherley for lunch. Both rides set off from Ripon Leisure Centre at 10am. Check our website for details, www.ripon-loiterers.org.uk/index.asp or call 608053.
