Join tidy up before in Bloom judging

From: Geoff Humble, Chairman of Wetherby in Bloom.

THE Yorkshire in Bloom judges are in town once again to inspect our town on Thursday, July 9. They will be around from about 10am to noon.

We have already had some complimentary feed back from the spring judging and, hopefully, we can continue in the same vein next week.

This can be further assured with your help. Wetherby in Bloom will have its customary clean up of the town on the Wednesday night before judging, and anyone willing to help is welcome to appear at 5.30pm outside the Town Hall suitably attired with gloves, brush and shovel, plastic bags will be supplied.

On Saturday, July 11, a special event is being held in aid of Wetherby in Bloom funds in the St James’s Scout and Guide hall in Church Street.

There will be the opportunity to have morning coffee with tombola and other stalls organised by Maureen Kilvington and her wonderful band of helpers.

We look forward to your support, without which we would be unable to attain the levels of success that we do.
