Heartfelt thanks to those who tried to help my dear husband

ON Sunday May 10, 2009 I sadly lost my beloved husband, Ian Parkin. Ian was a well known person in the town and he loved living in Wetherby.
On the evening Ian died, we were out for a walk into town. As I was unable to at the time, I am writing this letter to thank the residents of Nichols Way and Fledborough Road. Ian collapsed on Nichols Way and within minutes of raising the alarm, a large number of the residents were out of their homes doing all they could to assist.
It was a very traumatic experience for all involved. I wish to express my heartfelt thanks to those who tried their hardest to help Ian on that evening.
