Building on field would be devastating

I WRITE hoping that I am correct in thinking that everybody in Boston Spa, is aware of the planning application that Taylor Wimpey has sent into Leeds City Council for Church Fields.
The developer is wanting to build 170 dwellings on this very special site. If this planning application is passed it will have a devastating effect on the village, the village will lose a very large open space that gives Boston Spa its very special village feel.
I am asking that every resident if they object to this planning application, write a letter of objection, to the following address:- Development Department, The Leonardo Building, 2 Rossington Street, Leeds, LS2 8HD, quoting application number P/09/02128/FU/NE. Please ask your family, friends, and neighbours to write, we need 1,000 letters of objection. Please send a copy to your ward councillors, they need to be aware of your objections.
The plans for the proposed development can be seen in the reception of the above address and at Wetherby Library, they need to be in Boston Spa library.
