BCB should drop plant plans in light of objections

From: Carey J Trenchard, Tockwith.

IN A recent edition, you quoted Phil Boardman of BCB stating that "it was time for the (incinerator) project to be scrutinised by the planning professionals".

At last week's Planning Committee meeting at Harrogate Council, the project was scrutinised by planning professionals, who have strongly objected to it on both environmental health and planning grounds. Is it not now time for Mr Boardman to listen to these professionals and for BCB to withdraw its application?
